This resort was fantastic in every way. There are so many beautiful spaces and retreat areas at this location. From infinity pools, swim up bars, beaches, beach cabanas, pool cabanas the list goes on. The pool service was excellent and every worker seemed so happy to be part of the HGV team. Our room was really nice, not the most high-end room of course, but a stunning view and great accommodations. Some rooms have their own pools and hot tubs which would be pretty amazing. The food was incredible at this resort. Sometimes it seems places cater to “American” palettes but they had such an amazing variety and authenticity of the Mexican cuisine was well represented. We chose to do the all-inclusive so we didn’t have to worry about anything and could just have fun and relax and try new things without worrying about the cost of each item. I’m pretty sure we worked that system to its core.
The workout facility was really nice and the view outside the facility looked out to palm trees and the ocean which was a great way to start the day. They also had spa services but we did not take part in any treatments.
I would 100% go to this resort again. We had such a great time and everything was perfect. I would call ahead to make sure there is not a huge convention at the same time you book. There was a huge company there so on the first night a lot of the pool areas were not available. If this group hadn’t been there the hotel would have been way less crowded but at the same time, I think we got fireworks show because they were there so there were trade-offs for sure. Even so their presence made it more crowded than normal and we had to hear their awards show while enjoying a nice dinner on the first night.
